Yes, E it is. The passage starts with the quote as "Some people have questioned the objectivity", and later part of the passage tries to show that the judges has not discriminated. but option B just states that judges find it difficult to be objective which no where correlated to the 2 arg...

OA as correctly mentioned by you is (A) Another reason for B to be incorrect is, if you read the passgae carefully,it says that "As a consequence, brand-name products generally neither offer higher quality nor sell at higher prices." (B) indicates that quality of products sold under invari...

I would go with
(A)
too.
B - passive voice
C - pasisve voice
D - "a (half) dozen" should be followed by a singular usage
E - "a (half) dozen" should be followed by a singular usage
GMAT instructors, your views please.

IMO
(C).
A - Does not weaken the argument. B - if performances vary in quality. But some people consider this music as ugly because of it's subtle and delightful patterns which has nothing to do with quality. Hence B does not weaken the conclusion C - The people who don't consider ...

I think the OA should be ( E ). The analysis of the correct answer in this case requires us to use some sample data. e.g. If advertizers say that most orders(lets say 100) were placed by people under the age group of 30-35. Then if 30% of the orders were picked up by the subscribers (under the age o...

Yes, very tough call between C and D. I also went with D initially but it seems OA is C.
GMAT Instructors, could you please help why C is preferred over D.

Interesting observation! But I agree with Chetan that it is not right to eliminate an answer choice in CR just because it may be grammatically incorrect. Moreover, I guess we should not be spending time in CR questions looking for correct/incorrect grammer usage. Ofcourse, insturctors are best to gu...

I also think that the OA could be (C). One of the main reasons for eliminating E was the use of the word "never" in it.
What is the OA and the explaination.

I'll with Karthik that the OA should be B.
C can be ruled out because passage already states "millions of sweat glands in humans" which suggests that there are already many. Also (C) talks about overheating only in humans without any connection to animals.
