As other suggested please read closely to see the word limit. If there is no limit truly, then try to limit between 500-750. Keep in mind that adcom reads hundreds of applications and you do not want them to skim and not get what you are trying to say.
Hope it helps.

Thanks for the prompt response. If you put yourself in the school's shoes, it's not about what the school thinks; It's about what companies think. Though school may not care, it may be inclined to pick a side. That's what I am getting to, if it makes sense.
Thank you.

Thank you both for your inputs. @Tani, I have blocked out all other activties to complete the applications. Mostly I wouldn't have to spend much time any of the other things except work. I am not concerned about money either. As you have suggested I will start with 3 for R1, for R2 I would be in a b...

Realistic number of applications one can prepare
I have recently completed GMAT and looking forward to apply to schools this fall to start in fall 2012. Right now, I am preparing for TOEFL and will sit for the test next Saturday. The next step would be visiting schools to come up with a list of schools I would like to apply. The question I have is...

Thanks Vineesh. Please check your messages. I have sent you a PM. You don't have to worry... In fact everything seemed very normal to me and I felt that the scoring was perfectly fine because it was in line with the range for the practice tests. Prepare well, sit for the test with confidence, you wi...
