Update - I've been admitted! I'm still waiting to hear from the other school to which I applied, but they would have to throw in some financial help to lure me away from GW at this point. What a relief to know, finally!
Thank you for everyone's encouragement and help!

I would say that if one of those other programs is your DREAM program, then you might as well contact that program (politely) and see what time frame you're looking at for a final ...

Hi DCJen, I am from Southern California as well, and rent in the DC Foggy Bottom area is definitely more expensive. Since you've lived in both DC and So Cal, how would you compare and contrast both areas? Well, I definitely find that L.A. is more relaxed than D.C. Folks here seem to be much more se...

I'm also in the C bandwagon - it's the only answer that explains a similar situation to nitrogen depletion, except in the reverse: accumulation of toxins that inhibit growth of the alfalfa. Let's look at the other answers: (A) Some kinds of plants grow more rapidly and are more productive when they ...

yes that's correct A new species is singular and hence will always take a singular verb. What makes it singular - is it presence of article 'A' or something else? My understanding is the "species" can be singular or plural, and you have to look at the context to understand which it is. In...

Wow, congrats GWUMBA and Moneyball29! It seems like this forum has a high admission rate for GW applicants, which is always nice to hear. I recently moved to DC from Los Angeles, and I was surprised that rental prices were just as expensive, if not more so, than LA. The great thing about GW is that ...

Hi all,

How did all the R2 applicants do? It sounds like decision notifications were sent out recently, no?

I just submitted my R3 application last week and received an email confirming that all my materials were successfully received. Now I'm looking forward to a couple of anxious weeks!

Does the "MBA Math" course help your chances of ad

Hello experts, I haven't seen much information about how the "MBA Math" course is viewed by admissions committees: does it have much weight to offset lower undergraduate math scores? Do most admissions committees consider it an "Oh, that's nice" sort of addition to an application...

Hi! I'm also super curious about this topic. I just took my first of the MBA.com's practice exams after a few weeks of in-depth math review to start off my self-study (CliffsNotes Math Review for Standardized Tests and OG Quant). In the very beginning of my study, I figured out quickly that my verba...
