"If 20 % of the applicants who applied college X and 25% of the applicants who applied college Y applied both college X and Y"

I personally found the "and" of the statement confusing => 0.2A + 0.25B = 15

Event A : pro Aam-Aadmi
Event B : pro Aam-Aurat

pick up a pro Aam-Aadmi knowing he's a pro Aam-Aurat is P(A|B)

Probability of A knowing B (non-independent events) is P(A|B) = P(A and B)/P(B)
P(A and B) = 20%
P(B) = 30%

==> P(A|B) = 20%/30% = 2/3

we can choose 9C3 = 84 combinations of 3 points (A,B,C) from the 9 points.
the number of combination of (A,B,C) that are on the same line are 8 (3 horizontals, 3 verticals, 2 diagonals)

the answer is 84 - 8 = 76 triangles
