PS - Permutations Q

Hi, How would the solution to this question differ if it were "row" vs. "circular"? 4 people are to be seated around a circular table at a banquet. If there are exactly 4 places around the table where the people are to be seated, in how many different orders may they be arranged?...

Hi, From(2):As xy<0, |xy| = -xy case-1 : |x| - |y| < 0 As |x - y| > 0, |x - y| > |x| - |y| always holds case-2 : |x| - |y| > 0 |x - y|^2 = x^2 + y^2 - 2xy = x^2 + y^2 + 2|xy| (|x| - |y|)^2 = x^2 + y^2 - 2|xy| So, |x - y|^2 > (|x| - |y|)^2 So, |x - y| > |x| - |y| Sufficient B Frankenstein, Why would...

Hi all, I am sure a lot of you have reached this juncture in your studying so I will ask for your advice! That is what I thought. Some previous posts were confusing the PT for 1:1:root3, illogically comming to the, coincidentally, correct conclusion. However, as stated the correct PT ratio is 1:root3:2 based on the given information.

Thanks.
