I would say you are definitely in the ball-park. I scored just below and just over 700 on my MGMAT's and pulled a 710 on the real thing.

There is a post around here somewhere, and I am sure someone will link it.. but NO, they are not more important at all. All questions are equal.

I have talked with Stacey Blackman services, and was pretty impressed. Also sent an inquiry to MBA Exchange, and heard back with an initial email, I will see what they say after I sent my profile...

Thanks Eric. Have you heard any testimonials from people that have used any of the big consultants? I have found obviously plenty of positive testimonials, I was curious if you knew of anyone who had any criticism towards their consultant? I think I would find valid reasons why they thought the cons...

Question re: Consulting Services -
Hi guys, Question regarding consulting services for MBA apps. Does anyone have frank, no non-sense opinions or reviews of the different services out there? I am interested in Stacey Blackman, and have spoken to Katie, but was wondering if anyone had experience with other services out there? Any advi...

Hey Gans, Congrats on the score! 690 should not prevent you from applying! And.... if it is any consolation, I got a 690 the first time having never broke 700 on a practice. I studied hard for a month, retook, and got a 710! Stick with it if you know you can do it! Your piece of mind will outweigh t...

In response to above, I improved from 690 to 710. What I did differently the second time around was concentrate on quality, and used the MGMAT books to review my math. I really felt they did a good job, and provided the opportunity to learn outside just doing problems over and over again. I prepared...

Well.. 2nd time was better - 710 (V42 Q45)
Re-took this morning - Didn't feel good on the verbal, yet scored about what I had been on my practice tests. Felt great on Verbal, yet scored lower than usual! Oh well, the monkey is off my back for more. I still think I could do another 30-35 points, but I doubt I will take it again, just not wort...

One I am having trouble with...
Came across this last night taking a GMATPrep -
(1001^2 - 999^s) / (101^2 - 99^2)
I know I am missing something simple here...
Choices are -
10
20
40
80
100
Answer - 10
Can someone educate me on the simple way to solve this?
Thanks In Advance! ~Sam

The thing to remember is that your score is a benchmark against everyone else taking the test. Because of this, it is much easier to score in the 90th percentile in the SAT then compared with the GMAT. This is simply because most of the people taking the GMAT are more motivated individuals pursuing ...

I agree with Prasana above... one other thing I would like to note is - It's not often quantity, but rather quality. It seems you have reviewed a monster amount of material. I would recommend really focusing on a few items and make sure you that your studying is of a very high quality and that you a...

A little dramatic perhaps.. Just coming to this forum and browsing puts you ahead of the vast majority of people out there. There are a lot of people who simply take it to take it. The first time I took it, the guy taking it next to me was just taking it because his employer wanted to, he didn't eve...
