[A] correct - it keeps ..... and it can ----- maintains parallelism
there are two problem with this option. first before the underlined part sentence says tail has two functions and describe only one. Second how will leopard keep warm by tail is unknown
[C] same as two options must be parallel and succinct
[D] dispatching --- wrong form
[E] in keeping ....... and it can also ------ not parallel
