Each side of a certain parallelogram has length 6. if the area of the parallelogram is 18.
which of the following is the measure of one of its angles?

A. 30’ B. 45’ C. 60’ D. 90’ E.120’

Should be A.

In a paralellogram opposite sides are parallel and equal.
Say ABCD is a parallelogram where AB and CD are the bases and BC and CD the width. Height is determined by drawing a perpendicular line from vertex D to AB. This forms a 30-60-90 triangle. And so one angle can be calculated as a 30 degree angle from this diagram.
It would help you understand better if you could try drawing the picture. I am unable to scan the sheet with the diagrammatic explanation. Hope this helps!
