I could of made a mistake but i believe the answer is A, $13.33

M = 3N - 10

M = 50

therefore

50 = 3N - 10
.
.
.
N = $13.33

Answer is 20. Limits if you substitute your answer you should satisfy the question. $10 less than 3 times $13.33 is approximately equal to 30 and not 50.

area of the circle with radius x = pi * x^2 = x

=> x = 1/pi

Answer is E.

Rc and Rt are car and truck revenues in 96.
0.89Rc and 1.07Rt are care and truck revenues in 97.

0.89Rc + 1.07Rt = 1.01Rc + 1.01 Rt

0.06Rt = 0.12Rc => Rc/Rt = 1/2 (A)

Answer is 3.

Total weight = 3 x 7 = 21

x+y+z = 21

y = 9

Maximise x => minimise z, which gives x = 3.
