PROFILE EVALUATION

Qualifications : BTech From a Premier institute in India
GPA : 68 %
School Academics : 94 % in public board exams - National level Subject topper.
College Level Internships : Mostly Academic internships in IIT Madras.
College Level Managerial Experience : Marketing Manager for 2 years for the college cultural festival

Company : MNC IT Company
Duration : 10 months
Work : Regular coding job - apart from that - part of the management committee concerning Women's Welfare in the Company and also headed a cultural event.

Company : A Very small sized Advertising agency
Duration: 8 months ( joined primarily to get an exposure in the media industry)
Work:Involved in selling advertising solutions to various media partners ranging from print media,radio and TV.
Guided the sales team of 5 by developing and monitoring progress of quarterly sales.
Did market research to find specific areas and trends to integrate and promote sales
Hands on experience in Event management-Part of the committee in charge of brand positioning through both creative print and television and promotional activities.
Generated funds to conduct the event at its fullest potential through obtaining various sponsorship


Company : Famous Jewellery, Lifestyle and a Hotel Brand in India
Duration : 1 year
Work: Taking care of different aspects in Brand management- brand communication, creating a high profile visibility through media partnerships
Brand activation, Driving PR in line with the promotional activities.
Monitoring the reception by the customers through ample market research
Working with the top management,outside consultancies and agencies.


GMAT : 680

As of now my target school is ISB. Havnt started researching on abroad schools yet.

Can you suggest me the schools where I might have a good chance of making it through ?

Did you graduate from IIT Madras with a 68%? Was the 68% First Class? In either case, you graduated from an excellent undergraduate institution but your GMAT is below the average GMAT at ISB. You still have a good chance due to the IIT brand, but my suggestion is to retake the test and try to get above 700+ to maximize your chances.
