Hi Ganesh,

We're both a bit new here so we have that in common! My thoughts on your question about Michigan Dearborn is just that if you look at the profile for the class:
class profile you can see that you somewhat over index on GMAT and experience. That may not be a bad thing- you could be attractive for fellowships or really stand out with your experience-- but you may find that in one of the biggest reasons to get your MBA- to learn from like minded and equally experienced peers- perhaps you will not be fully satisfied.

Even though you have very specific finance interests, the elective courses in top MBA programs should be able to prepare you for your goals without getting a second masters in finance. I suggest that you look at the course offerings of some of the programs that most interest you and look for a faculty member with similar research interests. That might help you make a connection at the school. I'd certainly look at Michigan Ross and here is a Contact current Michigan MBA students site where you can reach out to current full time MBA's there to ask more questions. If you were to work with a consultant like us, we could help you with not only school selection in more detail, but we could help you present an application that best showcases your accomplishments and shares your key themes. We do a lot of work on the front end to challenge applicants about how they can best present themselves in the admissions process. PLease feel free to get a free consult from our webpage at StratusPrep.com or pm if you'd like to know more! And best of luck to you!
