Is |w-6| > 5 ?

(1) w is an integer

(2) w^2 < 1

The OA is B .

Experts, how can I use statement (2) to get an answer here? May you help me.
I know that statement (1) is not sufficient, but I don't know how to use the second one.

Since w^2 < 1, we have -1 < w < 1. Whatever value between -1 and +1, you key in |w-6| > 5, you get that |w - 6| is greater than 5. Sufficient.

Hope this helps!
