Hi friends,
Need your help. Below is my profile, can you tell me after scoring well in GMAT can I get good college?
10th Marks - 71.2%
12th Marks - 64.5%
B. Tech Marks - 7.43/10
I have 2 years education gap in between 12th and B. Tech. During those days I was preparing for Engineering Entrance Examinations. This is my main concerns if this will create any problem to get the college.
Can I get a good college with below profile?

Hi Sandy02,
Are you talking about Business School/Grad School or an undergraduate college?

This is not at all a good description of your profile. The US B-schools do not ask you for your 10th and 12th scores. However, in India you are asked about your scores.
Regarding the selection in a good school, you nee dot identify what is a good school first. Seek an answer rto the following questions and the come to a conclusion:
1. What is your long term goal?
2. How much money do you want to spend?
3. What geography you want to live in after your B-School?
A B-School admit requires a lot many things apart from your GMAT score. The score is just one data point in your overall application. Your admission depends on:
1. Your work experience
2. Your goal
3. Your extra curricular activities
4. You leadership potential
5. Your scores - GMAT and GPA.
The two year gap will not be a spoilsport in your application to the US B-Schools. I have seen many students get through great schools and some with hefty scholarships too.
