Profile Evaluation Request

Hi,
I was hoping if someone could evaluate my profile and let me know if I should retake the GMAT or move forward with my applications. My target schools are the top ten's in Canada and India.( slightly biased towards colleges in Montreal: Desautels, JMSB- Concordia, HEC.
Background:
Career: US Staffing Industry; Working as an account manager for a US staffing company handling global pharmaceutical client.3+ years experience and have exemplary references. Started as a Recruitment consultant, was promoted to the role of AM in three years.
Age: 27 years
GMAT: 620(q43, v32)
IELTS: 8
Under-graduation: Engineering-IT Degree from a state university in India with not so impressive GPA(66%)
Extra Curricular: Not Much
Has volunteered with Teach for India.
Domain: US Staffing
Writing & Interview skills: Effective
Interest: MBA Sales /Marketing- Starting 2017

Thanks for sharing your profile.

If you can consider retaking the GMAT, it would help make your applications more competitive. You have to consider that you are coming from a very competitive applicant pool, and you need to compensate for your academics. Doing well on the GMAT and scoring above the average of your target schools would help your chances of admissions.

Your profile is overall quite solid, and if you can push that GMAT even 30/40 points (more is better!) by application time, that would be awesome!!!

Thank you for getting back to me!

I have shortlisted JMSB- Concordia University and their avg GMAT is 623.
Could you all please provide some information about that school? I am considering it because it has good local presence and make sense financially.
Most of the current students at JMSB thinks it is value for money as the opportunities provided are quite similar to those provided at McGill or UBC.

I am also planning to learn some basic french as it will help me survive in Montreal.
