by sandeep12d3 » Fri Apr 18, 2014 8:28 am
Hi,
I scored a 680 on my first gmat attempt.I wanted to score 700 so gave it again but scored 560.I was utterly shocked.I could not have ever even dreamt of scoring so low.Does my 680 still hold or my 560 kills any dream I have of getting into a good college.please help.

Hang in there! You still get to count the 680 but take a step back, figure out what happened the 2nd time around, and give it another go. Taking the GMAT 3 times (or 4, for some) isn't that uncommon!

If you're trying to get over the 700 mark I think you could totally do it - a 20 or 30 point improvement is definitely doable!
