After a few months of studying, I am glad to finally say I beat the gmat. Very pleased with my score and ready to start the application process.
Practice Tests:
PR 1 - 660
PR 2 - 680
PR 3 - 640 (felt some of the verbal questions in this test were real poor)
PR 4 - 710
GMAT Prep 1 - 710
Actual GMAT - 740
I am essentially attributing the increase in my test date score over the last two practice tests to increased concentration on test day (and I am sure a little luck too). I could sometimes feel myself on the practice tests get a little lazy and not fully think some problems through.
Best of luck to everyone. Thanks for everyone's help around here. |

Yes - leading up to test day I was extremely anxious and unsure. I will say, however, on test day I was pretty confident and did not let my nerves get in the way.
Someone requested I post more details on strategy etc, so I'll follow up later this weekend with some mre info. |
