Og representative of questions on GMAT?

by yogarajsm » Tue Jun 19, 2012 9:35 pm
Hi GMAC,

Is the frequency of question types given on the OG for a particular section (say Critical Reasoning), representative of their importance on the GMAT?

For example, in the 13th Edition of the OG, we do not see any questions on Mimicking the Reasoning in argument, in the CR section. Does that mean such question types are of low importance, or maybe, won't be asked on the GMAT at all from now on?

Regards,
Yogaraj

Hi Yogaraj,

Thank you for asking this question! All of the question types that appear on the exam can be found in the exam. All question types are of equal importance.

Good luck in your studies!
