Hi all,
I took the GMAT and scored 620 - so I will be retaking it again. The score report does not make sense to me - maybe someone can explain.
Quant: Scaled score = 39. Percentile = 58.
Verbal: Scaled score = 36. Percentile = 80.
Total: 620. Percentile: 76.
How come my quantitative scaled score is higher than the verbal scaled score but the quantitative percentile is less than the verbal percentile.
Can anyone explain this?
Thank all. |

percentile as nothing to do with the score. percentile means HOW MANY OTHERS (in terms of %) you did better than
so, Q percentile of 58, means that you did better than 58% of the people who took the exam. I'm not sure if it's people who took teh SAME exam as you, or what. |
