hey all,
i'm preparing to take the gmat and i have a few (random!) questions:
(1) where can i purchase a pair of disposable foam earplugs (CVS/Wallgreens, Office Depot, etc....)? i'm in the US.
(2) for AWA essays should i use the ENTER key in between paragraphs or should i use the SPACE bar 5 times (to indent the paragraphs)?
(3) if i'm a US citizen can i just bring my drivers license or should i bring my American passport (or both..?)?
thanks everyone |

You may check with your exam centre. Most of them carry ear plugs and you dont need to buy them.

You will be able to use ENTER key

I think your DL should suffice. Any way check the communication you would have got from mba.com when you enrolled.

Hi Prasanna,
You should be able to get earplugs at any drug store. You can also get earplugs or headphones at the testing center, though.Check out: (http://www.beatthegmat.com/do-you-get-headphones-or-earplugs-at-the-test-center-t8026.html)
For the AWA, put a space between each paragraph. You do not need to indent.
As a US citizen, you are fine just bringing your drivers' license as ID.
Best wishes,

The test center may not let you bring in earplugs. They wouldn't let me bring in the ones I had but they had some foam ones for me. _________________ Nosfuerato

Lux,
To be safe, bring your own ear plugs!
I remember when I took my GMAT, they ran out and I nearly freaked out (I am one of those guys who is easily distracted). Luckily another person had an extra set and literally saved me
Good luck!!
