Hi Stacy,
First of all thanks for providing such valuable advice.

My profile is as follows:

GMAT score 650 overall percentile 83
Verbal 28 percentile 51
Quant 49 percentile 90

Years of work experience by the time I start: 7 1/2

Program applying to: Evening and Weekend at Haas

Career progression: Engineer to Senior Engineer to Project Lead/Project Manager.

Experience in both start up and big companies. Extensive non-profit experience and can get good recos.

Now question should I retake my GMAT or should I focus on the rest of the application.

Your advice in this matter will be greatly appreciated.

Of course your profile will be improved if you can improve the GMAT score. Without knowing what your schedule is like (would you have time to work on both in parallel? how much work have you done so far on the apps? do you think you have a chance at improving your score?) it is difficult to make a recommendation. However, my guess is that time is limited and you are probably better off focusing on the application at this point.
Good luck! It's a great program.
