Yes or No question

by sabgau » Tue May 16, 2006 7:00 pm
I am a bit confused on the Yes/No question in DS

1. Princenton review says that if the first statement answers the question then we need not go further and the answer is A

2. kaplan says that we need to see if both answer the question so the answer will be D if both do

Which one is correct? or am I just reading it incorrectly

Thanks

Hello sabgau,

I'm looking at the PR review for DS and on page 154, it shows this. It tells you that:

"Just by figuring out whether or not the first statement answers the question, you have done some great eliminating. if the first statement works, you are always down to A or D. If it doesn't, you're always down to the remaining choices: B, C, or E."

It's saying you have a 50% chance at the question if statement #1 can be answered.
