guyz,
how important is probablity and permutations and combination in GMAT quant.I dont have much idea in these topics .how elabaorate prepration is needed ? incase if i decide not to waste time on these to and by decide to leaving it aside, then will that be a bad decision.

I wouldn't focus on this area until you've mastered the other topics of gmat quant. The reason being that probability problems usually only appear when you reach the hardest quant questions if at all (I got 49 on Q and didn't see a single probability question, but lots of the usual suspects). _________________ http://www.beatthegmat.com/my-blog-errors-and-lessons-learned-t4899.html

Moved this topic to the GMAT Math area...
I agree with mayonnai5e 100%. Focus on the fundamental math areas first before diving into these advanced topics--you're only going to see a handful of them at most on your actual test. _________________ Eric
