Happy Holidays, Beat The GMAT community!

The holidays are always a time where I reflect upon all the blessings I have in my life, and I wanted to let you all know that I feel particularly blessed to be a part of this wonderful community.

Thank you all for the encouragement and support you've given to this community over the last year, propelling Beat The GMAT as one of the largest GMAT & MBA discussion communities on the Internet! Some highlights over the last year include:

  • Distributing nearly $10,000 worth of scholarships to date.
  • Increasing traffic to Beat The GMAT by 400% year over year.
  • Adding 11,000 new registered members over the last year.
  • Adding 25,000 new user posts over the last year.
  • Helping lots of people achieve their dreams for attending business school.

I have big plans for this community in 2008, and I look forward to working with you all to keep growing this website into the ultimate GMAT & MBA resource!

I also wish to extend a special thank you to our moderators. These exceptional individuals have donated so much of their time to serve as leaders for this community as well as to share their expertise for free, and they deserve special appreciation and thanks for their generosity. These folks include: aim-wsc, mayonnai5e, gabriel, Stacey Koprince, Neo2000, jayhawk2001, Prasanna, Stacy Blackman, and Amy Ulrich. Thanks so much team!

Here's to a great 2008 for everyone!

Thanks Eric!
It's end of the year & we are proud members of such generous community who help each others to achieve the common goal that is to 'beat the GMAT'.

One more one of its kind achievement the forum has done (which I think Eric forgot to mention) BeatTheGMAT.com remained one of the most popular site in GMAT domain throughout the year. At the beginning of 2007 we ( /I ) learned that it's America's most viewed GMAT related website I am happy that we still keep that position intact; in fact we've actually gone beyond....

If you compare sites in same domain, Alexa is good; however for overall rankings it's biased & polar towards webmaster-favourite sites.

Anyways that I think certainly cheer us here!
Time to celebrate!

Happy holidays, People!
