Hello everyone!!
I took the GMAT last month and scored a 590(Q 42 and V 30).The score disappointed me but as I had a strong application I got admitted to Pepperdine University for the full-time MBA program for fall 2008.The tuition for the full-time MBA at pepperdine is quite high and the only option left for me to save some money is through scholarships.I got to know from them that a GMAT score of 630+ can earn me a decent scholarship.I really think this is the only way of saving some money and so I am planning to write the GMAT again in Feb 2008.
I am quite confortable with Math but I really lack in geometry especially co-ordinate geometry and in probability.
The passages in reading comprehension sometimes disturbs my concentration and get impatient.
Please advice a strategy for me to get a score of atleast a 650.
I have been using the following materials:
Kaplan GMAT 800
OG 11
OG Math workout
And yeah one more thing..Does anyone have inside information about the Graziadio Business School at Pepperdine University??
Thank you!! _________________ Maxx |

Congrats on getting accepted to Pepperdine! Kinda weird that you're planning to take the test again, after getting admitted.
If you are committed to self study, check out the following books: OG Verbal, MGMAT SC Guide, Kaplan Premier book. These guides should provide you lots of good strategy advice and practice questions for your prep.
For your math topics, if you really want to focus on the advanced math questions, think about paying $20 for Delta Course, http://www.deltacourse.com. Might be what you're looking for...
With some topic review and a lot of diligent practice, you should be able to reach your target score! Good luck, we're here for you! _________________ Eric
