I will be graduating in spring 2008 (BS) and am goiing to take the GMAT in Aug 2007 studying over the summer.

My question is this Kaplan each year releases new editions for example KAPLAN 800 2006-2007. Is there any change from 2005-2006? Also, do you think the 2007-2008 book be relased by May 2007?

Secondly, would you just go with Kaplan 800 and forget the KAPLAN GMAT 2006 all together?

Thanks

With regards to your first question--I don't know what the difference is between Kaplan 2006-2007 vs. 2005-2006. As a rule of thumb, it's a good idea to use the latest GMAT materials on the market. However, if you all ready have the 2005-2006 edition, my sense is that there probably isn't much difference in content between this edition and the new edition.

With regards to your second question. Kaplan GMAT 2006 is a worthwhile book to purchase. If you are interested in pushing your score to the 700+ range, I think that Kaplan GMAT 800 is worthwhile to purchase ALONG with Kaplan GMAT 2006 (this is a great foundational book). Kaplan 800 focuses on the TOUGHEST material to be found on the GMAT.

Good luck!
