As far as I remember, refer to Sahil's note. He has the usage in his notes.

"Contast to" is for Dissimilar things. Man 1 Vs Man2
"Contrast with" is for Similar. Man Vs Animal

I am not carrying my notes, so probably can be wrong. Suggest you to refer Sahil's notes.
