Just started reading Are Your Lights On? by Donald C Gause and Gerald M. Weinberg. My manager let me borrow it. The book discusses strategies for approaching problems (any problem) and systematically solving them.

I know, it sounds boring but it's actually very entertaining--it's supposed to be a classic.

Eric,
You might be interested in reading "7 Habits of highly effective people" by Stephen R Covey. Its a good read. I am currently reading the book. Very practical book and you can definetely use some points in day-to-day life.

Next in-line is "Liar's Poker" by Michael Lewis. Heard that its a great book and must read for people eying for Trading. And also I like J.M.Meriwether.

7 Habits is definitely on my reading list! I've heard a lot of good things about it...

Liar's Poker is another good one that I've heard about.

I need to read more!

Hi vannan:

Thanks very much for the ebook--unfortunately, I've deleted your attachment because I'm pretty sure that 7 Habits is copyright material and we can't share it for free here...

Thanks though!

Moby Dick. It's long and dense, but interesting.

The Argumentative India by Amartya Sen

It's about a billion level above my reading threshold (I mostly read MAD Magazine and Sherlock Holmes!)- so it's a challenge. I hope it makes me that teensy bit more intelligent though!
