Difficulty of Quant question pools

What are the difficulty levels of the questions in the various quant question pools? Are the questions comparable to the MGMAT CAT quant questions? I find all quant prep other than MGMAT CATs too easy, and yet I was unable to score well (by my standards) on the quant section of the actual GMAT. I'm looking for more practice with extra-hard problems. Can I expect this from the MGMAT question banks?

So far, I've only bought the MGMAT SC guide, and I found the SC question bank easier than the questions in the MGMAT CAT. Most of the questions form the pool were in the 500-700 level (I only took 1 session of 25 questions), whereas almost all my questions on the CATs are in the 700-800 level.

have you tried manhattan GMAT math challenge questions?
They were here on the forums when i used to login often. & they're on MGMAT website too for free .

I think they are quite tough...

I know that MGMAT questions can be hard, but I want to know whether the question pools represent the most difficult questions (700+) or simply average questions.

The question banks associated with the red strategy guides cover all difficulty levels - all of our students use them, so they have to cover the entire range.

The math Challenge Problem bank is all 700+ level questions (half of them are really 800+ - that is, harder than anything you'll see on the real test). I don't believe these are still available for free - I think you either have to be a student or have bought one of our products to use these now. You can also just buy direct access to the Challenge Problems alone. There are about 200 or 250 questions.

I think the real questions are not as difficult as the MGMAT questions. The other way to improve score is to practice - do more math sample questions
