36) If a and b is not =, what is the value of a+b?
1) a^2 – b^2 / a-b = 6
2) (a+b)^2 = 36

I am assuming that you meant to say a and b not =0
so from A we know a+b=6 SUFF
from B we know a+b=+/- 6 INSUFF
