hi guys
plz help me out here
i am in a bit dilema regarding my career-course picking

i am a student from india

now, what i want is entry into investment banking
preferrably in one of the following areas- M&A or Equity Research

now my problem is that i dont have funds to
support education for two years,i.e. mba and donn ve
enough wrk ex to get into those ivy league where loans are given
away leniently

so i was looking to do MS in Finance(a one year degree,
hence less expensive)
from some usa's b-school

however,i want to make sure that i get the right course
plz some experienced guys suggest, could MS Finance help
me in achieving my goal of entry into investment
banking?
please dont hesitate to give any kind of advice u want to give

i will appreciate ur valuable advice

As you said you dont have enough (or no) work experience, which is most of times admission criteria for international MBA programs (non-indian MBA)
I've not researched much about MS in Finance hence I couldn't guide you regarding its scope and limitations.

I think you can go for Indian MBA courses. Their fees are generally affordable to average Indians and their students pool usually have less or no work experience.
The average age of the students is also less in Indian MBA.
You can pursue a career in your desired field of Finance by doing MBA with finance major from any reputable Indian institute.

All the best.
