Totally beat up!

by g-madder » Fri Jun 01, 2007 11:41 pm
I took my GMAT on 30 May and ended up with a 640.

Results from my practice tests:

PR CAT1 620
PR CAT2 630
PR CAT3 670
PR CAT4 650
* * 1 month of studying * *
GMAT PREP 1 700 (2 weeks before test)
GMAT PREP 2 700 (1 week before test)

I am honestly a little bit disappointed. I don't want to discourage those folks who are using the GMAT PREP to ballpark their actual score however.

My b@#ch and moan excuse is that I just didn't sleep well. To others, I seemed very calm and nonchalant about the exam. But apparently, one side of my brain was saying, "This is your last chance of survival. Girl, if you don't do well, you are doomed forever!" :twisted: During the last 2 weeks before my exam, I was sleeping so poorly that I went to see my endocrinologist about it (!!)

Anyway, lesson learned! This is only a $ 250 exam and it's not worth losing sleep over!

I like this attitude--you're absolutely right, this test isn't worth losing sleep over.

A 640 is still a good score!
