Anyone running the SF Bay to Breakers 12K race tomorrow?
I'll be there--you might be able to identify me, since I'll be sporting a "www.beatthegmat.com" bumper sticker.

There's gonna be a lot of people but lets see if I run into you - hopefully
not literally

Wow, there were a lot of naked old men at this race. Never seen so much craziness in one place!

and post a pic (not of those older naked blokes ) of that sticker.
we wanna see how it looks...and better if you post a complete profile pic or running man pic |
I'll try to locate a pic--and I promise that I will be fully clothed.

I completely agree.
Of the ones dressed , I guess the proportion of whacky costumed
ones was much higher than the sane ones. Much unlike previous
years.
There were a few funny ones like a banana and a gorilla (especially
when the gorilla was running after the banana !), super-heroes, hotdogs...
Not sure how these guys run 7.5 miles with such costumes on !

Haha, not too many people who were dressed up and partying made it to the end. It was pretty much just us runners who were taking the event "seriously" at the end...
I didn't appreciate getting smacked in the face with all the flying tortillas at the beginning though, haha.

Sounds like a fun race though! I am a "runner" also (I am a back of the packer hence my quotes) but I have never run bay to breakers.

Highly recommend it--it's a carnival.

I know what you're thinking, and the answer is yes--I am actually wearing a beatthegmat.com bumper sticker on my shirt. I plan on wearing the same sticker for the San Francisco Half Marathon race in July too.
