Hi Eric,
A friend of mine mailed me asking "is a 300 word essay strictly a 300 word essay? or I can add some more to compensate for 'a','is','of's etc?"
What do i tell him? |

We want to enforce the 300 word limit. Part of the challenge of these essays is expressing your argument/thoughts in a concise manner, and we want to see what people have to say with these constraints.
Thanks Neo! _________________ Eric

The references do not have to be professional. They can be any person that can speak to your ambitions and character.

We are asking for references to assist us in the cases where we need to verify the authenticity of an applicant's story. Not that anyone in this community would ever lie on an application! _________________ Eric

Eric,
Check your email....I'm done too!!!!!!!!!! It sucks that I discovered these forums and the scholarship on the Internet only last week, but it's really encouraged me to learn more about Beat the GMAT!
Best of luck to everyone who's applying to the 2007 Beat the GMAT Scholarship. The initiative is really awesome...

Sine it was still the 7th of May in the Pacific Time Zone, will I still be considered for the scholarship? |

So I Knew I was going to be pushing the deadline. What I didnt count for was the fact that my own brain would terrorise me
Imagine dreaming that the deadline is approaching and you still havent submitted the application. You are frantically trying to make the e-mail but everything is moving in slow motion. Except for the clock! Of course I missed the deadline
Thank God it was only a dream
Completely diff story that i very nearly missed the deadline even when wide awake
Eric, I know I mentioned earlier that stress kills/shortens life and that i wld come back to haunt you but Man this is just as good a reason to come haunt you
