1. x and y are integers. x>0 is y>0?
1) 7x-2y>0
2) -y<x

2. In the xy-coordinate plane, line L and line K intersect at the point (4;3). Is the product of thier slopes negative?
1) The product of the x-intersepts of lines L and K is positive
2) The product of the y-intersepts of lines L and K is negative

3. Is x>0?
1) xy>0
2) x+y>0
I think I know the solution to this problem, but I'd like to see your comments anyway

4. Is the hundredths digit of the decimal d greater than 5?
1) The tenth digit of 10d is 7
2) The thoudsands digit of d/10 is 7

5. If n denotes a number to the left of 0 on the number line such as that the square of n is less than 1/100, then reciprocal of n must be

a) less than -10
d) between 0 and 1/10
e) greater than 10

I would be very appreciating to everyone who could help!

Thank you an advance.

Ans for Q5.

Please read the question statement carefully. The catch is in the statement. Since n is less than 0. If we take recipocal of any negative number its always negative. Straighway answer is A

I hate to do this but this thread is being locked. It breaks a number of rules of the board. To start with use one thread for one question, do not post multiple questions on a single thread. Also make use of the search function as I am sure atleast some of them have been answered before.
