B says:gmat_perfect wrote: What is the exact problem in B?
--each of them Hemingway's wives--
Each is singular and so, the sentence should not be:
--each of them Hemingway's wives--
But it should be:
--each of them Hemingway's wife--

Can you clear one more doubt...In OP B, we used each of them...now THEM is an objective pronoun..to use this objective pronoun to refer the list of wives which is coming in the initial of the sentence...is this correct???

While players exhibited supreme team effort, each of them also contributed individually.
While players exhibited supreme team effort, each of them also contributed individually.
