This sentence is correct. However, I would like to know if anyone finds that there should be a comma after "in his afterlife" ? That is why I couldn't find the correct answer choice.
Some expalnaitons don't care about commas and some pay attention to commas. Also, # 44 in diagnostic, the logic of the sentence is that the "river is seldom more that 40 feet wide AND 12 feet deep". How could the correct answer choice contain " 40 feet wide OR 12 feet deep". I find the meaning to be distorted.
Please help.
