Nov 2011 Toefl, can I use it for 2014 fall applications?

Post Sun Jun 30, 2013 7:55 am
Hi guys,

I took my GMAT in Sept 2011 and TOEFL in Nov 2011. I'm applying to schools for Fall 2014. I know that my GMAT score is valid but can I use my TOEFL Score from 2011. Or do I need to take the TOEFL again?

Any insight will help.

Thanks

It depends on the school, and when you submit. This TOEFL won't work for HBS since they say you need a test taken Jan. 1, 2012 or sooner. Columbia will accept this score however, provided you submit before the two-year expiration in November. Most schools have the latter policy; the TOEFL needs to be taken in the two-year period before application submit. You will need to review each school's website and application carefully - or email admissions about it - to know for sure. Plan on doing a lot of Round 1 apps!!! Very Happy
