In GMAT score of 580 in my previous GMAT, which I wrote last september. Now I want to at least break the 700 mark but never crossed it during any of my practice tests. The following is the score of practice tests.

My advice to you will be to reschedule your exam because you seem not to be ready since you did not reach 700 on none of your practice tests. If you really want to get 700 on the exam, you should at least score 700 and up on both Gmat prep exams...

Hi Sri

I felt a strong urge to write cause last month I was exactly in the same situation. I scored 570. (47, 21) on my official GMAT. My prep. test score pattern was very similar to yours. But I had confined myself to the GMAT prep softwares.

For you too verbal seems an issue. From your last couple of tests, find out where you are getting maximum wrong. For me it was SC and CR .

I was not conceptually clear with SC and CR . Didnt do enuff practice, so I felt instead working all the three section at this 11th hour its better to hone SC and RC only. With CR anyway it was fine for me to get even 50% right. I also analysed with this approach at max i was getting 30-34.

During the exam though I got a tough RC and I was carried away. I feel it is more about the managing the time during the exam. I guessed almost 10 questions in the end. I think this was big mistake. Plus in math I have done some silly mistakes on word problems.

Best for you would be to work on your strengths in verbal, avoid silly mistake in math. During exam try to skip difficult questions. Just give this order to mind that for you its important to solve the maximum questions.

You still have some days left. See if you can improve on verbal score. Even if you are getting 38 -40 consistently, you are in a better shape. Moreover on real GMAT I feel the score will always some points less at least for verbal.

ALL THE BEST
