MGMAT Scores

by sarvagya_tiwari » Tue Oct 07, 2008 6:16 am
Hi,
I recently finished all my MGMAT tests with following scores:

MGMAT -I 680
MGMAT -II 680
MGMAT -III 670
MGMAT -IV 700
MGMAT -V 700
MGMAT -VI 690

How should I match these scores with the real GMAT scores..?

Hi sarvagya_tiwari,

In order to better approximate your score, I just need to ask a few more questions. First, did you take any of the tests untimed? If you didn't and took them all timed, did you ever pause? Also, what were the dates of your practice tests? Finally, what was your percentile breakdown on each exam?

If you answer the questions above, I'll be better able to come up with an approximation of your score. Be warned, however, our tests can vary - at times significantly - from students' real GMAT results. For the absolute best approximation of your score, download the GMATPrep Software from MBA.com and take one of those practice tests. They're made by the people who administer the exam, so it will be your most accurate score.

Hi Michael,

The following are my MGMAT scores. I took them all under timed condition and did not pause in between during any of the tests. Would you be able to come up with a approx. score for me? I am taking the test on Apr 30th.

CAT DATE MATH VERBAL TOTAL
MGMAT CAT 1 31st Jan 2010 45 (77%) 40(91%) 700(93%)
MGMAT CAT 2 13th Feb 2010 44(73%) 36(81%) 660(86%)
MGMAT CAT 3 21st Feb 2010 44(73%) 34(72%) 640(80%)
MGMAT CAT 4 14th Mar 2010 46(79%) 40(91%) 700(93%)
MGMAT CAT 4 28th Mar 2010 43(70%) 40(91%) 690(91%)

Thanks!

Hi,

Based on your scores, I would assume that you would get an official GMAT score of around 690 or so, but that's purely just a guess. If you haven't already, I would suggest taking the two GMATPrep exams which are put out by the GMAC, as they are the most accurate score estimators. (They use old questions from actual GMATs and follow the same algorithm.) You can find them at mba.com.

Best of luck with your exam!
