Plug in n=-1, m=2. Is 1/2 < 1/(-1)? No.
Insufficient.
Statement 2, rephrased: m = 3n-2
Plug in n=2, m=4. Is 1/4 < 1/2? Yes.
Plug in n=-1, m=-5. Is 1/(-5) < 1(-1)? No.
Insufficient.
Statements 1 and 2 combined:
Since we're given 2 variables and 2 different linear equations, we can solve for each variable.
Sufficient.
The correct answer is C.
