Just wanted to see if anyone has any anecdotal info regarding application volumes maybe not being as high as in previous years?

I read some where recently an interview of the GMAC director and he mentioned that there was a huge rise in the number of students taking the GMAT and reporting scores. This would translate into a larger applicant crowd this year than the previous year.

What hk says it's not necessarily true. GMAT has slowed its increase rate and many people may have taken the gmat multiple times - as getting higher scores it's becoming increasingly important. Also, there is a record number of foreign programs out there! So, do not lose your hope!!

Judge BS informed me they received a record number of applications this year.
I also heard the rumors that applicartion at LBS has risen as well.
So, the predictions that application number will fall, are not true
