I'm considering purchasing the MGMAT self-study guide either with the 9 recorded sessions or without.

My first GMAT score a year ago without much studying was a 560. Heavily weighted towards verbal. My most recent taken at the end of last year was a 620, Q:38, V:37. Generally speaking, I'm stronger in my verbal but think I can still improve on it. My math needs some serious work but I think I can improve in it. My target score is in the 650-690 range.

How have others experience been with the self-study guide. Do you think it will be helpful for me? Additionally, while I plan on purchasing the full program, will I need to go through the entire program as I do have some time constraints and I feel pretty comfy with the verbal. I'd like to focus heavily on the quant and get through this program in a month and take the exam in early April. Any thoughts would be much appreciated.

Do you mean to just buy the mgmat math books and study that? You dont see any value in going through the entire program

I agree with Eric. With serious studying with the MGMAT guides should be sufficient. If you that doesn't help you can sit in free trial sessions.

Yes, you may only need the books
