10^8 - 10^2 /10^7 - 10^4 =10^2(10^6)/10^4(10^3-1) will be approx 10^3/10^2=10
And option B
we discussed this few days back but could not find the post.It had some interesting discussions.

(10^8 - 10^2) / (10^7 - 10^4) = (10^2)(10^6 - 1) / (10^4)(10^3 - 1)
= (10^6) / (10^2)(10^3) [Ignore subtracting 1 from numerator and denominator]
= 10
The correct answer should be (B).
= (10^6) / (10^2)(10^3) [Ignore subtracting 1 from numerator and denominator]
= 10
The correct answer should be (B).

Really nice, the move to drop the 1 is a real time-saver!Rahul@gurome wrote:(10^8 - 10^2) / (10^7 - 10^4) = (10^2)(10^6 - 1) / (10^4)(10^3 - 1)
