A board-game manufacturer recently won a lawsuit against an online game developer for creating an unauthorized online version of a popular copyrighted board game. As a result of this lawsuit, online game developers will stop making unauthorized imitations of copyrighted board games. Therefore, game development costs for online game developers will rise, because buying the rights to copyrighted board games is expensive.

The conclusion above is based on which of the following assumptions?

A Many people are unable to tell the difference between an authorized or unauthorized version of an online board game.
B Games that imitate well-known board games are usually more entertaining than other online board games.
C The original versions of some copyrighted board games are unavailable to many consumers.
D Game development companies will create online games that borrow elements from copyrighted board games.
E Game developers will continue to develop online versions of copyrighted board games.

IMO B.
Fills the gap between the premise and the conclusion. Even though unauthorized imititations are now banned, because well know board games are so popular, online game develop will buy the rights to those board games.
Being defeated is often only a temporary condition. Giving up is what makes it permanent.

because buying the rights to copyrighted board games is expensive and because developers cant copy online game for
free as they did before, thus if they want to copy game, they must buy rights and to buy right they must have the desire " continue to develop online game version of copyrighted board games.
so E is my answer
what is the answer?

Guys Answer Should be D.

Premise is that online game companies can not make unauthorized COPY of Board Games.
By this point author is going to the conclusion that the Cost of online game developers will rise because their rights are more expensive.
This Means they don't have any other option but to continue with board game manufacturer type games But if they make the same game as of Board Game then again the Board company will file a lawsuit and online game will have to pay the charges.
Now What they can Do, they have to do the same thing that Is very Famous in India. They will definitely copy Board Game but with some small differences.
LIKE
One example is in mind of
Toilet Soap. LUX, Now if they want to copy it without any problems they will make LUX in to LUXX
Its same as Same But The parent Company can't do anything.

I think i may be sounding a Bit funny over here But that is the only Possible option for online game developer.
According to me.
