The rate of diagnosed heart disease among the population of the United States as a whole is 7 percent, but only 5 percent of Connecticut's residents have been diagnosed with heart disease, compared with 10 percent of the residents of Kentucky. If a family were to move from Kentucky to Connecticut, therefore, its members would be less likely to develop heart disease than if the family remained in Kentucky.

Which of the following statements, if true, most strongly weakens the conclusion of the argument above?

A Foods that are considered major contributers to heart disease are more popular in Kentucky than in Connecticut.
B The Kentucky Department of Public Health claims that statistics regarding heart disease in the state are highly unreliable.
C The low incidence of heart disease among residents of Connecticut is primarily the result of genetic factors.
D Health insurance companies do not lower their premiums for families which move from Kentucky to Connecticut.
E Heart disease is not the leading cause of death due to natural causes among residents of Kentucky.

B and C are strong.. IMO C.
Being defeated is often only a temporary condition. Giving up is what makes it permanent.

the correct answer is C
it depends on gene, not enviroment thus C can weaken that
this CR is like the CR in OG 11 ( question 102-103) page 497, just give a look at it, honey. the explanation is good)
