Kaplan Diagnostic Test

by isisalaska » Wed Mar 21, 2007 5:06 am
Hi
I though it would be interesting to share this with the community.

Yesterday I went to Kaplan and took a diagnostic test. To my surprised it was paper based. I asked for a CAT one and they told me I can take one by going to the Kaplan web site. Since I was there already I decided to take it anyway and I thought to myself (this will be like practicing).

I got 580, Math (51%) and verbal (87%). Even though this score might not be that representative this proved again that I really need to work on math, that’s way, I am happy I hired a math tutor, I made the right decision. :)

During the test I tried the test as if were on the computer, meaning I did not look at other questions and I respect the time for each section. But I am thinking I should not “fool” myself with the score and I should think this score if more like a 540 maybe.

I also took their diagnostic test on Monday. I scored 410 :( I am horrible when it comes to math.

Good luck with your studying!
