You overall carry a decent profile. While assessing your application, top b-schools looks for candidates who have demonstratednleadership qualities in their professional or personal lives. Leadership qualities don’t necessarily mean leading teams - they could also mean the initiatives you had taken, your achievements, impact-orientation and career progression.

It's a high to start working on your essays. Tailor your essays brilliantly in a professional and simple language. B-schools looks for the candidates carrying High Academic Ability, Impact Leadership and communication skills, Clarity of Goals and Contribution and Passionate. Make sure you build an excellent story and present it in a very professional and simple language. Try to stand out rather fitting in which makes your profile unique.

Yes GMAT is at a lower side but its your over all profile which helps you getting an admit. Focus on your essays and feel free to reach us out for any help regarding your application

I think indeed it may be- all things being equal a higher GMAT is always better- but I think you have some strong professional experience and that you can be a compelling candidate at these programs. Best wishes to you!

Consider the following points kewldudeer:

    - Your work sounds interesting but you've provided more a job description rather than achievements/highlights. You'll need to articulate those eventually - think of what makes you stand out and how will you differentiate in your peer group.

    - The Cricket thing is good and so are your other efforts. It will be interesting to understand why you have been up to the Actuarial aspects as it doesn't seem to be related to your professional work and/or your post-MBA plans. Which btw is not something you've explained/shared either.

    - For reasons mentioned here, we do not speculate on school selection. But the GMAT could slightly mar an otherwise interestingly positioned profile. A higher score can definitely improve your prospects.

Hope this helps some.

Cheers,
