    This is a kind of practice question: This is easy for your GMAT prep on SC

    Which of the following sentences is incorrectly written?


    (A) While running through the city, the marathon runners were fatigued but determined.

    (B) Waiting around all day for the cable representatives to arrive is very frustrating.

    (C) Creating humorous parodies of political figures and events are the role of a political cartoonist.

    (D) What Angela says is irrelevant if the judge decides to suspend his sentence.

    (E) To believe in Santa Claus as an adult is highly unusual.

    not sure though is there is some other way to frame the sentence.

    (D) What Angela says is irrelevant if the judge decides to suspend his sentence.

    (E) To believe in Santa Claus as an adult is highly unusual.

    Which of the following sentences is incorrectly written?


    (A) While running through the city, the marathon runners were fatigued but determined. - Sentence structure is "DC, IC" perfect (DC-Dependent Clause, IC-Independent Clause)

    (B) Waiting around all day for the cable representatives to arrive is very frustrating. - Gerund subject "waiting..." with main verb "is" - perfect sentence

    (C) Creating humorous parodies of political figures and events are the role of a political cartoonist. - Gerund subject "creating....." is singular, but has plural verb "are" - Incorrect

    (D) What Angela says is irrelevant if the judge decides to suspend his sentence. - Main verb and perfect sentence with "if" condition

    (E) To believe in Santa Claus as an adult is highly unusual - Main verb "is" along with the subject "to believe......" perfect sentence
