hi all
I plan to take my GMAT end of sept and I am struggling with RC.
Just took a MGMAT and get 580
Breakdown
Q 46 V20
on the verbal here is the breakdown
SC : 67%
CR: 67%
RC:0% which led me to V20....
I have bought GMATPILL for RC and just start the video...
in term of material I have
OG13
Verbal workbook OG review
KAPLAN verbal workbook
and I also subscribe to BTG study guide.
I am trying to apply GMATpill method on RC and redid questions I did wrong on MGMAT test, It work for specific questions, but with general questions ( inference, main idea of the passage ) , I am still struggling.......
If you have some efficient tips or strategy to apply, please share them with me....
I am really disappointed....

For many, the two biggest hurdles to a great RC score are:
1) not engaging 100% in the passage as they read
2) failing to separate the big points from the small points in the passage
For non-native English speakers, there's a third hurdle:
3) reading slowly
#3 is hard to fix in a short timeframe, however #1 and #2 can be dealt with through lots of practice.
Cheers,
Brent
