Idea for compiling 'beat the gmat' scores

Compile scores (voluntary) of members of this forum from before and after using this forum to give everyone an idea of how much this forum + other resources has helped. This will give everyone a good idea of the value of this forum, and as an added bonus, may also serve to reduce the number of 'how much can I improve' questions.

(I was thinking of a graph showing the distribution of scores before using this forum, and the distribution of people after using this forum/may include scores of people using this forum but did not have a score previous to using this forum)

Implementation
We can try using Google spreadsheets, and just create a survey within 1 spreadsheet, link to it. Then on the spreadsheet side, we can create a graph that will auto update as more info is added into the spreadsheet. We can then link to the graph.

Put both links in a sticky so people will know where it is, and to fill it out if they choose.

I'm sure there are plenty of other ways of executing this.

Thanks Jason for the idea. Maybe this could be an ongoing poll/user contrib system in the 'I just Beat The GMAT' seciton?

I like your suggestion. Let me raise this with my engineer, but I have to set expectations--we have a big work queue already! Smile

I like this idea as it can help new users determine a "realistic" idea of how much their scores can improve. What would also be interesting would be to add a time spent studying variable so that we can see how much time people spent to achieve a certain score improvement.
